kindness, gentleness and self-control.

It's about that baby stage where the 'real parenting' begins.  Selah is starting to remember and learn more, so now we get the privilege of training up our child and investing in who she becomes.

She's already been showing promising signs of cleanliness by helping to clean up her tray after eating and reminding us to close the lid on the bin when we open it.  :)  Not sure if she picked that one up just from the repeated opening and closing beside her highchair, or if she actually has a combo of mummy and daddy's strong sense of smell.  The highchair may not be sitting beside the bin for long.

So our first efforts at training have been kisses and cuddles.  She's starting to hug and kiss us...sort of, but were trying to teach her to show love to her toys as well.  Learning to be gentle seems pretty important for interacting with other little ones, so here Scott is trying to encourage her to be gentle to her dolly, Lucy.  Better keep an eye on her around little ones at the moment.
